PSNI offers a professional development webinar series for School Nurses monthly during the school year.
These 30-minute webinars do not cover or discuss any PSNI solutions. They present educational topics of interest to school nurses and may include:
- Current health issues
- Information on education programs that affect school nurses
- Practical application of techniques and strategies to help school nurses improve their practices
- Panel discussions with school nurses, nurse leaders, and state/federal educational health leaders
Registration for these webinars is free for anyone - you do not need to be a PSNI customer to register and attend.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CONTACT HOURS
| PSNI partners with Northeastern University's School Health Academy (NEUSHA) to offer continuing education contact hours for school nurses. Each webinar is eligible for 1/2 of a contact hour for participating school nurses who attend the entire webinar and complete the evaluation process at the end of the webinar. |
