School Nurse Superpower Nominees

Kelly does quadruple duty as school nurse, listening ear, maternal figure, and field trip organizer. She is so organized that she has taken our paperbased nursing office and worked tirelessly this year to bring us into the current century, implementing new nursing software to simply everyone's life. She has done the research, the training, and the implementation independently and efficiently. She supports our students through bandaids, hot/cold packs, sprains, and broken bones. She supports the faculty through headaches, sore throats, and other health questions. She makes sure the after school programs have everything they need. She is a fantastic communicator with both staff and families. She knows our students and who needs how much care. We appreciate her organization and her positive attitude all day everyday.
