School Nurse Superpower Nominees

Dr. Denise M. Makri-Werzen is a nurse at West Orange High School. Her depth of knowledge is incredible and she is a tremendous resource. She also serves on the Essex County School Nurses Association Exective Board, and goes above and beyond for her School Nurse colleagues, advocating, supporting and encouraging other school nurses whenever needed. Her super power is being an incredible resource for School Nurses, both educationally (sharing relevant information) and professionally (helping school nurses find their voice to advocate for themselves when needed).
