She travels throughout the district providing support in whatever capacity she is needed. You may find her working a clinic, providing support during field day activities, reviewing records, entering passes, mentoring nurses, meeting with parents, or assisting with trainings…but one thing is for sure…you’ll almost always find her smiling! Nurse Raven Dufour’s positive outlook coupled with her almost endless supply of energy and encouragement have endeared her to our team for the past 5 years. Nurse Dufour joined our team as the first ever District Nurse on Loan in 2021. Since coming onboard, Nurse Dufour has provided an underpinning of strength to our team of 70 nurses! She delivers care with kindness, compassion and competence. Her ability to rapidly assess and triage allows her to efficiently and effectively provide support to whatever situation requires her attention. She has been involved in several site emergencies, and in each case has provided care that has resulted in optimal outcomes. For her ability to go where needed, deliver care as required, manage the needs of any situation at any time…Nurse Raven Dufour is being nominated for her super power of being VERSATILE!
