Systems Administrator / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Description
PSNI, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain the company’s cloud infrastructure, internal systems, security posture, and SaaS operational environment. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure supporting both PSNI’s customer-facing SaaS platform and internal business operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with experience across cloud infrastructure, systems administration, networking, security, and operational support within a modern Microsoft and Azure-based environment. This individual must be capable of balancing day-to-day operational responsibilities with long-term infrastructure improvement initiatives.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring system availability, operational stability, business continuity, and infrastructure security across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure supporting PSNI’s SaaS environment
Maintain high availability, reliability, and performance of customer-facing production systems
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online
Maintain virtualization and backup environments including VMware and Veeam
Maintain firewalls, managed switches, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and segmented network infrastructure
Support Azure networking, security groups, web application firewalls, and secure remote access configurations
Lead SOC 2 operational readiness and audit activities
Fill the roles of Information Security Officer (ISO) and Data Security officer (DSO)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date infrastructure documentation including network diagrams, system configurations, operational procedures, disaster recovery processes, and support standards
Document cloud architecture, operational workflows, system dependencies, and infrastructure changes
Provide escalated technical support for internal operational issues as needed
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams on infrastructure initiatives and operational planning
- Assist with technology modernization efforts and long-term infrastructure strategy
- Perform other assigned responsibilities that may arise
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Operations, or related role
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 platforms
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall management
- Experience with virtualization and backup technologies
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and technical documentation skills
- Employee must be eligible for employment as defined by the USCIS E-Verify validation process
- Candidate must pass a NH criminal background check
