Documentation Strategies for High-Risk School Nursing Situations
Have you ever finished documenting a challenging encounter and wondered, "Did I include enough?" This session examines common documentation challenges in high-risk school nursing situations and provides practical, evidence-based strategies for creating clear, objective records that stand on their own long after the event has passed

Webinar Speaker
The speaker is: Kimberly Garrett, MSN, RN, LSN, NCSN
Kim is a school health leader and nurse informaticist with over 30 years of nursing experience spanning acute care, quality improvement, clinical research, and school health administration. Her career includes roles as a Trauma Center Nurse, Senior Quality Consultant, Clinical Research Coordinator, and eight years as Director of Health Services and School Nurse for a PK–12 school system. Since April 2023, she has worked with PSNI, a school health electronic health record company.
Kim brings a systems-focused perspective to school health, combining frontline nursing experience with expertise in informatics and workflow optimization. She is a national conference speaker and presented at the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) Annual Conference. In her current role, she works at the intersection of nursing practice and technology, advocating for scalable, nurse-informed solutions that support school nurses and improve student health outcomes.
